Summary of the Honest Global Warming Chart Blog

Climate Change Fantasy: "Climate Change" means a prediction of a coming climate crisis, that began in late 1950s science papers. The prediction had numbers attached in the 1970s -- wild guessed numbers for the effect of CO2 on the climate. The "coming" climate crisis has not shown up during the past 65 years of scary predictions. The predictions are a fantasy, not reality. Humans have no ability to predict the future climate. We have no idea if the climate will be warmer or colder in 100 years. This paragraph described what I call "Climate Alarmism".

Climate  Realism here at this blog, not Climate Alarmism. Readers of this blog live in climate science reality, not in a coming climate crisis, computer game fantasy. Climate change is a secular "religion" where no belief can be falsified -- that's anti-science. You can find science fiction -- those scary, always wrong climate predictions -- at mass media websites. But not here. Here we refute the Climate Howlers and their fantasy computer games. And their Nut Zero plan, for spending a huge amount of money, to significantly reduce the reliability of the electric grid. How much money no one knows, because there is no detailed plan for a cost estimate!

 

MY GOAL WITH THIS BLOG IS TO REFUTE  FOUR DECADES OF CLIMATE CHANGE  SCAREMONGERING BY LEFTIST  POLITICIANS AND THEIR TRAINED PARROT  GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRATS WITH SCIENCE DEGREES, PLAYING COMPUTER GAMES. COMPUTER GAMES THEY PROGRAM TO MAKE SCARY, ALWAYS WRONG CLIMATE PREDICTIONS. 

 

IRRATIONAL FEAR OF THE FUTURE CLIMATE IS DELIBERATELY CREATED BY THE USE OF ALWAYS WRONG, WILD GUESS PREDICTIONS OF CLIMATE DOOM. THAT FEAR IS ABUSED BY LEFTIST POLITICIANS TO EXPAND GOVERNMENT POWER AND SPENDING.

LEFTISTS TRY TO CONVINCE US THAT EVERY DAY WITH BAD WEATHER IS PROOF OF A COMING CLIMATE CHANGE EMERGENCY, THAT EXISTS ONLY IN THEIR OVERACTIVE IMAGINATIONS. LYING TO GAIN MORE POLITICAL POWER HAS BEEN A LEFTIST TRADITION FOR OVER A CENTURY. 

 

The global average absolute temperature from 1850 through 2021 seems to have been self-regulated by our planet. The total temperature change in 172 years, as estimated by Berkeley Earth, is only +0.4%. Data are measurements and estimates. A higher percentage of estimates as you move back in time. Before 1900, numbers are almost entirely estimates (guesses) for nations other than the US, and western European countries. Berkeley Earth is much more likely to exaggerate warming with their estimates, rather than under estimating warming. The global average temperature chart shown below is presented in Kelvin degrees. It has increased so little that the global average absolute temperature appears to be a straight line from 1850 through 2021.

I consider this blog to be a public service. There are no ads. I never ask for donations. I get paid nothing, I do get to refute leftist disinformation. Disinformation used to scare people about an imaginary future climate, creating fear that leads to greater government powers, rules and regulations, Refuting the scaremongering is worth more to me than money. I favor less government, and more personal freedom, as a libertarian since 1973. 

 

Right now our climate is wonderful, in spite of the climate scaremongering. But our personal freedoms are declining rapidly. We are losing the battle against horrible leftists stealing our personal freedoms. They weaponized Covid to gain power. And their predictions of an imaginary coming climate crisis have been a political weapon since the 1980s. The war against leftism / fascism is not over.  But we will lose the war for freedom if we give up. I won't back down.  And I hope you have the same attitude.

 

SUMMARY  OF  CLIMATE   REALISM:

Actual global warming since 1975 has been good news. Colder nations in the Northern Hemisphere now have warmer winter nights than they had in the 1970s. That's true here in Michigan USA, and we love it. Our planet is also greening from more CO2 in the atmosphere -- C3 photosynthesis plants used for food are growing better than ever. With less water too. That's more good news. Continued global warming for another 47 years should be even more good news. At worst, it will be harmless.

 

SUMMARY  OF  CLIMATE   ALARMISM:

Climate Alarmists start with a prediction of climate doom. Their always wrong, wild guess predictions of the future climate are not science. Humans have no ability to predict the future climate. We have no idea if the climate will be warmer or solder in 100 years. The predictions are nothing more than climate astrology. 

 

Unproven climate theories are promoted to make the predictions. That's not science. Historical temperature data are arbitrarily revised to better support the preferred, false narrative, that CO2 is Earth's temperature "control knob", That's science fraud. The global cooling trend from 1940 to 1975. as CO2 levels rose, has been arbitrarily "adjusted away". That's science fraud. 

Government bureaucrats with science degrees are paid by their governments to make scary climate predictions. And so they do. For the past 40 years, they've also programmed their computers to make the same scary climate predictions. They are actually worthless computer games with no ability to predict the climate. The bureaucrats typically predict a global warming crisis coming in 10 to 20 years. That imaginary crisis has been "coming" since the first predictions in 1957 science "studies". That's 65 years of wrong predictions, and there are still lots of gullible believers! The imaginary coming climate crisis will never show up -- that's my prediction.

WHAT  IS  CLIMATE  SCIENCE ? :

Climate science is based on data, called observations, of the present and past climate. There are real time data for the present climate, and reconstructed data (rough estimates) for long past climates, using climate proxies such as Antarctica ice cores. But there are no data for the future climate. For future climate predictions, there are only unproven theories, and speculation. Predictions are not reality. And wrong predictions are never science.

For the past 65 years, the climate predictions have not matched the observations. The predictions since the 1970s, on average, are for global warming at a rate 2x to 3x faster than has actually happened. The global cooling from 1940 to 1975, could not have happened, using the same formulas used for climate predictions. But it did happen and later was arbitrarily "erased" by the Climate Howlers:
